A much-loved Lincoln Jazz Café favourite returns for a special festive Sunday Session.

Join founding members Liz McIntosh and David Allsop as the Lincs Soul Collective Trio returns with another evening of soulful vocals, timeless jazz standards and beautifully reimagined classics.

Liz’s rich, expressive voice and David’s elegant piano playing have made the duo a firm favourite with our audiences, creating performances that are both intimate and uplifting. Their carefully chosen repertoire blends jazz, soul and blues, bringing fresh life to much-loved songs while creating the relaxed atmosphere our Sunday Sessions are known for.

For this special performance, they’re joined by acclaimed trombonist David Pearce.

A highly respected freelance musician, David performs regularly with many of the UK’s leading big bands and has appeared with ensembles including the Hallé Orchestra, London Pro-Arte and Forum Sinfonietta. He is also the founder and conductor of the Louth Wind Orchestra and Musical Director of the John Miller Orchestra, an honour entrusted to him by the late John Miller, nephew of Glenn Miller.

David’s warm, lyrical trombone playing brings a rich new texture to the trio, adding another dimension to an already captivating performance.

Together, the trio promises an evening of exceptional musicianship, timeless melodies and relaxed entertainment, combining classic jazz standards, soulful favourites and elegant arrangements in the intimate surroundings of Lincoln Jazz Café.
