Join us on Sunday, 4th October as we welcome The Jeffrey Hewer Trio to Lincoln Jazz Café for an evening of exceptional live jazz.
An exciting and dynamic ensemble, The Jeffrey Hewer Trio performs a highly swinging mix of jazz standards, Latin jazz, and original compositions, all inspired by the legendary artists who shaped the genre. Blending outstanding musicianship with infectious energy and inspired improvisation, the trio promises a performance that’s both sophisticated and entertaining.
Leading the group is acclaimed saxophonist and composer Jeffrey Hewer, whose performances have taken him to some of the North of England’s leading jazz venues, including Matt & Phreds, Scarborough Jazz, Zeffirelli’s, Jazz Leeds, and many more.
For this special performance, Jeffrey is joined by Yorkshire vibraphone legend John Settle and the rock-solid bass playing of Jose Canha, creating a trio that effortlessly combines swing, Latin rhythms, and contemporary jazz influences.
