The Hubtone Trio brings together award-winning trumpet, soulful bass, and lyrical jazz guitar for a performance that moves with elegance, energy, and intent โ rooted in jazz tradition, but never standing still.
๐บ Hugh Pascall leads with bold, expressive trumpet and flugelhorn. His post-bop sound is melodic, intelligent, and deeply musical, with a career that has taken him from Abbey Road to international stages alongside artists including The Last Poets and the Birmingham Jazz Orchestra.
๐ธ Tobie Carpenter brings sharp, inventive guitar work and a beautifully lyrical voice to the trio. One of the UKโs most in-demand jazz guitarists, his playing is agile, thoughtful, and full of character โ moving effortlessly between groove, harmony, and improvisation.
๐ป Andy Tytherleigh provides the trioโs rich rhythmic foundation. With over 20 years of experience and more than 30 albums to his name, his command of upright and electric bass brings warmth, depth, and effortless swing to the group.
