B.D. Lenz
Mixing the sophistication of jazz, the grit of blues, and the infectious grooves of funk and soul, B.D. Lenz is a contempo-jazz guitarist extraordinaire. A New Jersey native, he’s wielded the guitar since his early teens and honed his craft at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Lenz has studied under revered masters such as Mike Stern, Vic Juris, and Charlie Banacos, shaping his unique musical voice. With 13 highly-acclaimed recordings as a leader, featuring luminaries like Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, and more, his music has graced numerous global TV shows including “Breaking Bad,” “Catfish,” and “Young Sheldon.” An endorsed guitarist by Godin, Lenz has enraptured audiences internationally through thousands of performances, serving as a staff composer for Gramoscope Music and a columnist for AllAboutJazz.com.
Tom Clarke-Hill
Hailing from California and now a prominent figure in the UK jazz scene, Tom Clarke-Hill is a force to be reckoned with on upright and electric bass. His musical journey began studying double bass under the tutelage of Tiny Martin of the Boston Symphony. Fuelled by his education at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, he catapulted into a professional career, contributing his rhythmic prowess to Les Brown’s Band of Renown and providing stellar accompaniment to jazz luminaries such as Art Farmer, Bobby Shew, Mel Torme, Tal Farlow, and many more. Clarke-Hill’s bass thumping skills and versatile style promise an unforgettable performance that will elevate the jazz experience.
