✨ John Settle – drummer, vibraphonist, and one of the North’s most versatile jazz powerhouses – has spent over a decade lighting up stages across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Inspired early by giants like Art Blakey, Max Roach, and Milt Jackson, John’s playing is a thrilling fusion of roaring bebop energy and the silky, flowing lines of the great vibes masters.
From touring with New York Brass Band, Dennis Rollins, Greg Abate, and the Glenn Miller UK Orchestra, to appearing live on BBC6 Music from Maida Vale, John brings serious pedigree — and serious groove.
🌴 His passion for Latin music has even taken him to Brazil to study firsthand with the masters… and somehow he’s still found time to lead his own acclaimed groups, from Vibe-ology to the fiery ¡Ritmo Caliente!.
