🎸 Pat McCarthy on guitar brings the kind of gravitas that only comes with a lifetime of excellence. With a tone as distinct as his résumé, Pat has shared stages with jazz royalty — including Alan Barnes, Kenny Wheeler, Andy Sheppard, Gilad Atzmon, and even the London Mozart Players. Described by Humphrey Lyttelton as “world-class”, Pat’s playing is expressive, lyrical, and instantly recognisable — a rare combination of virtuosity and voice.
🎹 Matt Ratcliffe on piano is one of the UK’s most in-demand sidemen — a player whose résumé reads like a who’s who of British jazz. With appearances at London Jazz Festival, 606 Club, and Cheltenham Jazz, and collaborations with the likes of Dave O’Higgins, Dennis Rollins, Xhosa Cole, and Nigel Price, Matt brings harmonic depth, rhythmic intelligence, and a fearless ear for interplay. He doesn’t just accompany — he elevates.
🎻 Holding it all together is Andy Tytherleigh on bass — a consummate professional with over 20 years in the industry, more than 30 albums to his name, and collaborations that span from folk to electronica to jazz’s finest.
