Every performance is warm, engaging and full of musical chemistry, making for an unforgettable evening in the intimate surroundings of Lincoln Jazz Café.

Leading the trio is the captivating Liz McIntosh, whose rich, soulful vocals have become synonymous with the Lincs Soul Collective. Alongside her is David Allsop, whose elegant piano playing provides the perfect accompaniment, combining effortless swing with beautiful, expressive arrangements.

Joining them for this special performance is outstanding jazz trumpeter Sam Baker.

Having studied Jazz at Leeds College of Music before completing a Master’s degree in Jazz Trumpet Performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Sam has performed internationally, worked as a freelance musician in London and spent 18 months performing with the prestigious National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO). His lyrical, expressive trumpet playing adds a fresh dimension to the trio’s sound, bringing warmth, energy and outstanding musicianship to every performance.

Together, the trio creates an evening of elegant jazz, soulful interpretations and unforgettable live music, celebrating everything from beloved jazz standards to classic soul favourites.
